Haobo Jiang’s laboratory has facilitated the completion of 80 papers, which have already been published in journals

STILLWATER, OK, October 6, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ — Haobo Jiang, Ph.D., Professor at Oklahoma State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

With 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Jiang serves as a professor at Oklahoma State University. Specializing in biochemistry, he conducts investigation on insect innate immunity. Since 1998, his laboratory has been continuously supported by the National Institutes of Wellness to study insect melanization, a universal defense mechanism against pathogens and parasites that cause diseases like malaria.

Dr. Jiang received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Kansas State University in 1994. He is actually a member of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Entomological Society of America. He became involved in analysis by means of the expertise he gained at a biochemistry laboratory, and he attributes his success to his challenging work and desire to help other people. In 1998, Oklahoma State University honored him with the Whitley Award for Meritus Research in Agricultural Sciences.
